In my abstract artwork I explore the intersection of mathematics and emotions by using a mix of sharp geometric shapes with colourful and fluid organic forms.
After a 12-year career in Statistics, Brenda is now bringing her creativity into the world of art. Despite having always worked in a very beta world, Brenda has always found ways to work intuitively and bring creativity to the workplace.
Mathematics is a field where intuition plays a significant role in navigating the overwhelming amount of available data, models, and tools. Creativity is key to calculating something that is relevant for real world problems. The infinite spectrum of colours and shades provides me with boundless opportunities to express my inner world on canvas.

The series ´Perspective´ is created after a turbulent period in my personal life, reflecting light at the end of the tunnel. Each piece combines vibrant, powerful colours with darker background tones, symbolizing resilience and hope and invites viewers to engage with their own emotions and interpretations.
